Starting today, Friday March 14th, content from our MONAT TikTok Shop Affiliates may be selected to be featured in MONAT TiTok Ads. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? TikTok Shop Ads Launch What are MONAT Advertisements on TikTok Shop? Starting in March, MONAT is investing in TikTok Shop automated ads to amplify the reach of Affiliate MP content. This next phase of MONAT’s TikTok Shop evolution is designed to boost brand awareness and drive sales for our Market Partners who are TikTok Shop Affiliates. These ads will help expand MONAT’s reach to a wider audience and by consistently creating high-quality content, MP Affiliates will have the opportunity for MONAT to put ad spend behind their videos and maximizing commissions earnings!

TikTok Shop Ads Launch How does MONAT choose which content to promote? As a MONAT TikTok Shop Affiliate, MPs will have the option to authorize their videos for use in ads. Once authorized, MP content is automatically added to MONAT’s library of affiliate-generated videos. An advanced AI-powered analytics tool then evaluates video performance and overall quality to identify the highest-performing content for advertising.

TikTok Shop Ads Launch How do affiliate MPs become featured in MONAT advertisements on TikTok Shop? TikTok Shop’s automated AI ad solution selects content based on the algorithm’s performance, ensuring that all Market Partner Affiliates—regardless of rank, tenure, or sales history—have the opportunity to be featured in MONAT advertisements. To be considered for TikTok Shop ads, MPs must authorize their content for ad use. For the best chance of being selected by the algorithm, MONAT recommends creating high-quality content that is engaging, educational, and authentic. Be sure to follow the content guidelines shared in Discord to maximize your chances of being featured!

TikTok Shop Ads Launch Will featured affiliate MPs earn commission if their post is used by MONAT in TikTok Shop Advertisements? Yes! MONAT will invest in advertisements to promote MP Affiliates’ content on TikTok, and MPs will earn 10% Retail Bonus on any sales that were generated directly from an advertisement feature. Full Volume (PV/CV) will be attributed to the featured Affiliate MP for each advertisement sale, enabling Affiliate MPs to further maximize their Super Seller Bonus. In total, Affiliate MPs may earn up to 25% commissions from an advertisement sale (10% Retail Bonus + 15% Super Seller Bonus)! These ad features will also empower MPs with more reach to expand their audience and followers, increasing organic views and future sales.

TikTok Shop Ads Launch How can affiliate MPs determine if a retail sale came directly from their content or from a MONAT ad? Within the Affiliate Orders section of MP’s TikTok account, they will see details for all of their sales. Sales that originated directly from an advertisement will be tagged as ‘Shop Ads commission rate 10%.’

TikTok Shop Ads Launch Will MPs be notified if their video is selected for an advertisement? TikTok Shop does not typically send a direct notification to Affiliates if their video is selected for an advertisement. However, you’ll likely notice the impact quickly if your video is receiving significant ad spend. A clear sign is increased engagement and a surge in reach beyond your usual audience, indicating that your content is being supported by MONAT’s advertising efforts. MP Affiliates may also receive recognition from MONAT when their content is chosen.

TikTok Shop Ads Launch Can affiliate MPs opt out of advertisements? Yes, MPs can opt out of advertising. Videos will only be used in ads if MP Affiliates have previously authorized their TikTok videos for advertising. This setting is found in Affiliates’ TikTok account, where you can manage permissions and choose whether to allow brands you promote to use your content in their ads. MONAT recommends that MP Affiliates authorize videos for advertising to help maximize audience reach and commissions earnings!

TikTok Shop Ads Launch Can MPs spend on ads directly on TikTok Shop instead of through MONAT? TikTok does allow Affiliates to purchase ad boosts on their own TikTok videos, but not on videos containing product links.
